The Lone Oak Cross Country team traveled to compete against some of the toughest competition in the area, and the Buffaloes continued to show their grit, determination, and competitive spirit.

In the 5K Division, Addison Wilhite and Tiffany Wittrock both competed against runners from 4A–6A schools and proved they belong among the best. Wilhite finished 5th overall, while Wittrock crossed the line in 9th, with both earning medalist honors.

The Varsity Girls turned in an outstanding team performance in the 2-Mile Division, capturing the team championship by just 2 points! Leading the way for the Lady Buffs were Abbie Garrett, who finished 6th, and Cynthia Lemon, who followed closely in 7th. Abigale Springer continued her strong season with a 9th-place finish and a new PR, while Kellyn Walker rounded out the scoring with a 15th-place finish.

The Buffalo Boys faced a tough field and a challenging race, but they continued to compete hard and represent Lone Oak with pride. Every race is another opportunity to get better, and the boys showed the toughness and determination that define this team.

The Buffaloes will be back on the course Friday morning in Fort Worth for the Regional Preview Meet, where they will get another opportunity to compete against some of the best runners in the region.

Keep working. Keep competing. Keep getting better.

ONE TEAM. ONE GOAL. ALL IN!
