The JH Buffaloes were back in action Thursday night and went 1-1 against Paris Chisum.

7th grade got their 6th win of the season and improved their district record to 4 and 0. The Buffaloes had a gritty defensive performance and held Chisum to 6 points. Haynon Northcutt, Miles Wade, and Coen Jackson all had big plays to help their team. Many other Buffaloes had great performances, as well. Lane Tippit had an impressive offensive performance. Kaymyn Rector and Coen Jackson had touchdowns to pace the Buffaloes.

8th Grade fell to a good Chisum 8th grade team. The defense battled during the first half as the halftime score was 12-0. The Buffaloes couldn’t get their offense rolling but did put together a late scoring drive to cut into the lead. Ryder Glasco scored from 4 yards out to make the final score 26-6. The boys will put this game behind them and focus on finishing the season strong.

Both teams play in Quitman, next Thursday.
