The Lone Oak Junior High Cross Country teams wrapped up their season at the District 15-3A Cross Country Meet, finishing the year with plenty to be proud of!

Avery Jackson led the Buffaloes with an impressive 10th-place finish, earning a medal and placing as the third-highest-finishing seventh grader in the race. On the girls’ side, Brianna Kinney led the way for the Lady Buffs with a strong 22nd-place finish.

The meet was another example of the hard work and progress these athletes have made throughout the season. Five of Lone Oak’s eight runners recorded personal records (PRs), showing the continued improvement and dedication of this group.

It has been a great year for Lone Oak Junior High Cross Country, and we are excited to see what next season holds for these young runners. The future is bright, and we look forward to building on the success and growth we experienced this year!
