The Lone Oak High School track teams had a strong showing at last week’s Rugged Red Relays in Winnsboro, competing against 16 teams in a highly competitive field. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams delivered impressive performances, with several athletes securing top finishes.

Varsity Girls Highlights
The Lady Buffs finished 6th out of 16 teams.
1st Place Finishes:
- Haven Scott – 100m & 200m

3rd Place Finishes:
- Haven Scott – High Jump
- 4x100m Relay: Sydney Clark, Haven Scott, Camryn Osburn, Grace Fort
- 4x400m Relay: Gracie Jackson, Mia Cruces, Abbie Garrett, Grace Fort

4th Place Finish:
- Addison Wilhite – 1600m

Varsity Boys Highlights
The Buffaloes finished 6th overall out of 16 teams.
- 1st Place High Jump – Wyatt Marker (6’)
- 3rd Place 4x400m Relay – 3:43

Top Individual Finishes:
Moises Perez – 6th place, 100m (11.44)
Alberto Sarmiento – 4th place, 300m Hurdles (45.40)
Cason McBride – 5th place, Shot Put (39'3.5'')
Tyson Hampton – 4th place, Discus (120'6.5'')
Nick Counts – 6th place, Triple Jump (38'8.25'')
Relays: 5th in the 4x100m (45.24) and 4x200m (1:36.50)

JV Boys Highlights
1st Place Triple Jump – Jansen Scott (37'5.5'')
6th place - 4x200m and 4x400m relays.
